[CLOSED] Coolite does not appear in Visual Studio 2010 Toolbox
Hi,
I just got a brand new desktop computer running Windows 7 Home Premium.
I have successfully installed the following software on the computer:
1. Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Premium.
2. Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Express.
3. Telerik RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX Q2 2010
However, when I installed Coolite Toolkit Professional v0.8.1, I got the following messages at the end of the installation:
http://www.gouw.ws/Coolite/CooliteToolboxProblem.jpg
When I started Visual Studio 2010 and opened an ASPX file, Coolite is missing from the Toolbox.
I tried to manually install the Coolite controls into the Toolbox by following the steps below as given in README.txt:
1. Open Visual Studio 2010.
2. Open a aspx page.
3. Open the ToolBox panel, typically located on the left side in a fly-out panel (Ctrl + Alt + x).
4. Create a new "Coolite Toolkit" Tab, by...
a. Right-Click in the ToolBox area.
b. Select "Add Tab".
c. Enter "Coolite Toolkit".
5. Inside the "Coolite Toolkit" tab, Right-Click and select "Choose Items...".
6. Under the ".NET Framework Components" Tab select the "Browse" button.
7. Navigate to and select the C:\Program Files\Coolite\Coolite Toolkit Professional v0.8.1\Coolite.Ext.Web.dll file, choose open.
8. The component items should now be added to the list and pre-checked. You can confirm by sorting the list by "Namespace" and scrolling to "Coolite.Ext.Web"
9. Click "OK". The icons should be added to your ToolBox. You should now be able to drag/drop a Coolite component onto your WebForm.
However, Coolite is still missing from the Toolbox.
Can you please help me?
Kind regards,
Herman
