Next Coolite 05 release

First of all really thanx for having port ExtJs library to the .NET world!

If possible, I wish to know when (more or less) will be the 05 release availble.

Then, I would suggest to render more clear if Coolite is compatible with ASP.NET AJAX technology, I mean UpdatePanles, Triggers etc. Of course, this wolud be a great thing for a .NET developer!

I'm not sure if you have seen my last post in the previous thread, but I have found that the UpdatePanels work with VS2008's built-in ASP.NET AJAX but not the VS2005's ASP.NET AJAX Extension Add-on. I haven't tried updating the toolkit to see if it fixes the problem in VS2005 so this may not be an issue for it either.

Edit: well, I just went ahead and downloaded the latest toolkit for VS 2005 from:

And directly replaced the dlls from the SampleWebSite, and sure enough it fixed the problem within VS2005. So Microsoft already fixed the problem and I wasn't aware of it, so I apologize :)

The 0.5 release is 99% complete. The release will include ViewPort and several Layout controls, including full design-time support for BorderLayout, AccordionLayout, FitLayout. The GridPanel will not be included with 0.5, although all our focus is turning to the GridPanel, so we should have something to show soon.

I'm looking for a couple people to test out 0.5. If you're interested, please email me directly at geoff [at] coolite [dot] com stating your interest and I will hook you up with the latest build. ALTHOUGH, I can not guarentee getting you the build until 5-May. There's a couple problems still lurking, but with some luck we should have them fixed asap.

I'm really shooting for a beta release of 0.5 mid next week.

OH Good God, may you change your mind about IDE and Release 0.5. AMEN! { I really really want to have a feel of the .5 version in my hands and on my machine, singing new UI songs :D}
