    EventMask and Adobe Flash

    Hi,

Not sure if you can actually do anything about this one but I thought I'd report it anyway!

When playing around with EventMasks for AjaxEvents I noticed that the mask does not cover flash movies, it actually appears below the flash movie.. (Tested in FF3 and IE6)

    Thanks!

    RE: EventMask and Adobe Flash

    Hi Stuart,

Good find. Thanks for reporting this bug.*

I know exactly what is causing this problem, although fixing it might be a real challenge... maybe impossible. I'm going to investigate and I'll post and update once I know more information.

Try setting the wmode="transparent" on the flash object

    <embed wmode="transparent" src="#" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"></embed>
