Hi there,

I have implemented an web application using Coolite Desktop. Was wondering how to implement a chating/messenger type of application in it which shows whose online and whose offline and allows to chat with online users.

Hi,

I recommend to investigate open source applications have similar functionality (user list and chat). You can find many applications at www.codeplex.com, www.codeproject.com and etc (google gives many links also)

Another option might be to use the <ext:TaskManager> component to make calls back to the server for new data, see https://examples1.ext.net/#/TaskManager/Basic/Overview/
