Save and restore between layouts

I have just discovered this suite of controls .
My question is if its possible to save a layout in xml format or as a string and later on restore layout from a file?

Hi Giannis,

This functionaltiy is not built into the controls, although it should certainly be possible to hook things together and the persist the state of the layout.

I think it would be a great feature for many developers , so if you keep a suggestion list please add it there.
I am using a similar layout control for winforms app from www.devexpress.com (xtralayout control) and I am seeking a similar asp.net component to port my winforms app to asp.net.
Looking forward to next release.
