Window overlay entire Portal page

I am trying to use the Portal Deluxe layout and in the tabbed area to the right of the panel navagation where pages show I want to call the Coolite window. I notice that when using the coolite window when clicking on it from inside the left tabbed (framed) windor it comes up like a Model window and disables the entire tabbed (framed) area although I want it to be on top of the entire Portal itself. Covering the entire web page and not just the tabbed page. I need to be able to pass data back and forth from the tabbed page telling it an update has been made as well. Is there a way to accomplish this?

Hello I am also trying to accomplish the same task do you have any luck in getting this working in anyway ?
