Does it help?

Also you can define ClientIDMode for the separate page

Here is latest update regarding the VS 2010 issue.

So I just want to let you know that we've identified the cause of the issue and are deciding how to handle it.

Have you already tried the Intellisense-Patch:

The Patch-Description does not like it has something to do with the described bug here,
but maybe it already contains a bugfix for this bug. Who knows? ;-)

Yes. Unfortunately it does not solve the issue.

The vs (parser?) team have reproduced the issue, confirmed this is a new bug and are working on a fix. With some luck that fix will be included in their next public release.

Here is latest message I have received from Microsoft:

"We've fixed the issue internally and the fix will be available in the next release. Thanks again for reporting the issue and your assistance."

I'm going to mark this thread as [CLOSED]. Obviously it's impossible to confirm at the moment, but once the next VS release is available we'll re-open if things are still not working correctly.
