retrieve value from combobox and opens up the treeview

hi,
i have a look at coolite example in "Treepanel using PageTreeLoader".in this example it used textfield..but when i try to replaced it with combobox..it didn't work out.
here attached you the screencapture of my page..am new user of coolite v0.8..
