[CLOSED] MultiUpload() control "Browse" button not visible in Latest Google Chrome version(Version 69)

    Hello,
We are using MultiUpload() control for uploading multiple files in grid panel. It's work perfectly since long time.
After google chrome update's this control is not working due to flash issue(Version 69.0.3497.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)) "Browse" button is not appearing. In chrome setting there is no option to enable flash hence Multiupload() browse button not visible.
Please suggest the alternate way to achieve the same functionality in chrome browser. Is there any changes require in code to visible the "Browse" button.

    Hello @MOHAMMEDRAFI!

The Multiupload component relies on Adobe's Shockwave Flash technology, which has gradually been removed from major browsers, in favor of HTML5. You may give the forums a search, and you'll find more details on this, mostly from people which raised the issue right when browser support was dropped on Chrome. Unfortunately, there's little we can do to continue the support of the component.

While we may look for alternatives, and make a new component with the same name, it will be difficult to keep the same api, if possible at all. At the time Ext.NET 4 was released, this was still not a problem. But for future Ext.NET 5, the MultiUpload component will either be discontinued (in favor of HTML5's FileUploadField component).

Hope this clarifies the matter, and that you understand.

    Hello @MOHAMMEDRAFI!

Its been a few days since we replied here and still no feedback from you; do you still need help here? Hope you understand the limitations about the component. We've logged issues to deprecate and discontinue the current implementation of Multiupload, hopefully in favor of a new and modern version, under issues #1613 and #1614 in github.

If we don't hear back from you in 7+ days from now, we may mark this thread as close -- which won't prevent you from posting new content here, so take your time.
