Boundlist events bubble to form elements below them on touch screens - how to Stop?

This has been a problem nearly anywhere a combobox or selectbox element is being used.

An example of this behaviour can be seen by using a touch screen on the examples page for Combobox overview - https://examples4.ext.net/#/Form/ComboBox/Overview/

Open any one of the comboboxes and select an item that appears on top of one of the other comboboxes on the page and once your item is selected you'll notice that the focus is now on the Combobox that was underneath the boundlist.

Is there a way to prevent this behaviour? It is very frustrating for users who are then presented with a keypad overlay or even worse, if the element was a checkbox or radio control it will check that box!
