[OPEN] [#1391] [4.1.0] Compiler warnings when building Ext.NET
Hi,
we build the Ext.NET library in Visual Studio 2015 and with TeamCity in conjunction with MSBuild from scratch.
For our own projects we treat all compiler warnings as errors as in the past we often run in runtime issues indicated already by a compiler warning in the build process.
Currently when building Ext.NET there are more than 340 compiler warnings, most of them related to hiding an inherited member (CS0108 and CS0114).
So, this request is no runtime issue but maybe the Ext.NET team will examine and clean the compiler warnings in a future release to further improve the code quality of Ext.NET. By eliminating all compiler warnings we get warned when new compiler warnings arise by code changes.
Kind Regards
Robert
