on Ext.locale.pt_BR.form.field.Date both minTexrt and maxText are incorrect.

minText
Original: A data deste campo deve ser posterior a {0}
Correct: A data deste campo deve ser posterior Ã* {0}

maxText
Original: A data deste campo deve ser anterior a {0}
Correct: A data deste campo deve ser anterior Ã* {0}

I'm afraid the use of the "crase" is correct in that context though.

Crase happens when you have a word which requires a preposition + article both as "a" (female gender). For example if {0} on the text was data de 2016/02/03 I would second you on the use of crase.

But as it is supposed to have just the date, it does use only a preposition.

We don't say, for example:
"Hoje é a 20/05/2015." (with article) but "Hoje é 20/05/2015". If we say though "Hoje é a data de 20/05/2015" then the article usage ("a") would be correct. This corroborates what I said above, I hope you can agree with that.
