    Hello,

    Thanks for the great question.

Even though Ext.NET 4 is marked as a Preview release, we feel it is very stable. As mentioned in a few other places, the goal of Ext.NET 4 was to ensure an easy upgrade path from Ext.NET 3. Ideally it should be a drop in replacement.

As we move forward with the remaining Ext.NET 4 releases (beta, rc, etc) only new Components will be added. Those Components will likely have no impact on existing Ext.NET 4 performance or stability. They'll just be bolting on new functionality.

All new functionality for existing classes (present in Ext.NET 3) have already been added and well tested.

Overall Ext.NET 4 Preview should be very stable. Feedback so far has been positive.

If you do upgrade your project, please let us know how it goes. We're very interested in the feedback.
