Migration of application used Ext.net 1.3.X on Window Server 2012 OS.

Hi,

We have used Ext.Net 1.3.X version in our application. Currently application is running on Windows Server 2003 and running perfectly fine. Now, we are planning to migrate the server from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2012.

Will this cause any issue? Is there any dependency or limitation of Ext.net 1.3.X version in terms of Operating System.

Hello,

We run Ext.NET 1 on Windows 7, 8 and 10 from Visual Studio + IIS Express. So as long as you keep the libraries in their required old versions, you should be good with the migration. I believe any windows 64 bit offers emulation to 32 bit libraries so you shouldn't also have to rebuild or hunt for new versions of the libraries also.
