Simple Master Page Layout?

How to create a simple master page layout using Ext.net controls?
It should look like this:

Good example!

Putting the footer in the south panel has these disadvantages:
- The footer is always visible on the page
- The main content's height is fixed (can't grows)

Any ideas to overcome this problem?

If you place footer in masterpage then it will always visible.Please clarify which parts of your lay out you want to put in master page ?
