Problem getting Gridfilter settings in codebehind

Hi

Based upon the example in the post below and some trial'n'error runs I have been working on an alternative way to export data based upon settings in the grid

I am not using XML but an .Net class and DeserializeObject

Basically it's working allright but if the gridfilter does not have any comparison element in the arguments my collection does not contain the filter values

Any ideas? - Other than use DeserializeXML and traverse the XML structure as described in the example
