    Source Code Distribution

    Hi,
I am currently developing a series of components with Coolite Community Edition's source code, actualy my components are inside Colite toolkit assembly. If I'll use my components in a commercial application, should I share my source code with the Coolite Community Edition source code?

    Thanks

    Le Flaco.

    RE: Source Code Distribution

    Hi leflaco,

Yes. The Community Edition is licensed with GPL 3.0, which requires the original source code and and derivatives be available for download by the receiving party.

There is no distinction within GPL 3.0 for Commercial vs Non-Commercial usage. The only question is whether the project is distributed or not.
