Anyway, back to topic, Geoff and Other team members, a sincere request, to publish Examples Explorer in a ZIP...



Will take me another 3-4 hrs to properly explore all the samples. Great work!!

Our plan has always been to publicly release the source code for the Examples Explorer, although it might not happen until v0.7. Currently the source is a 60/40 mix of Coolite Toolkit controls and hand rolled ExtJS source. Mainly because the current release (v0.6) does not include the <ext:TreePanel> or <ext:ToolBar>... both of which will be included with v0.7.

I forgot to mention... the <ext:ToolBar> dropped into SVN today, and <ext:Menu> should be available early next week. The <ext:TreePanel> is a bit more of a challenge, but it is next in line after the Menu.*

What's the difference between Menu and Toolbar? ExtJS just have a Toolbar control right? Is Menu something new or is it the Menu plugin created by a community member?

The Menu can't be as independent control (it can be as context menu, can be embedded in Toolbar or in SplitButton)

Idd, really great stuff, will be fun to spend some time trying them :)
Minor pb tho, we can't scroll tabs when we open too many samples at the same time. Not that it's blocking or anything.

Thanks for the feedback!


I added the "TabScroll" feature to the main examples <ext:TabPanel>. Now when you have more tabs open than can fit within the width of the Page, left/right scroll arrows will be rendered.*


One feature you may not also be aware of with the scroll tabs is that you can "scroll" with your mouse wheel. Just place your mouse over the tabs and mouse-scroll either up/down to scroll the tabs either left/right.


You can enable tab scrolling on any <ext:TabPanel> by setting*EnableTabScroll="true".
