Do you mean that it works fine locally? What is the server do you use locally? What is the server you deploy on? Please try with the same server locally.

Please clarify when does it happen? On page load? Or after click a Button with DirectEvent?

How many users do use the site? Does it happen for the only user or when a lot of users deals with the application?

Have you done stress testing on the application locally?

Have you done some profiling on server to determine what exactly takes 100% of CPU time?
