[CLOSED] Upgrade from 2.1.1 to 2.5.2

Hello: Could you please tell me roughly if upgrading to 2.5.2 from 2.1.1 is relatively easy? The extjs version didn't change so I don't expect a lot of things breaking. I will do my homework in the next day or so and go over the breaking changes list, but I was curious, if you were to give a mark between 1 to 10, 1 being very easy to upgrade (minimal changes or no changes) and 10 being the other extreme, with lots of changes, how would you mark such an upgrade? Also, is Ext.Net 2.5.2 capable of detecting IE11? I came across this issue: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2...false-in-ie-11 Thank you!

    Hi,

There are very few Breaking Changes between 2.1.1 and 2.5.2. It should be a drop in replacement for the majority of scenarios.

All Breaking Changes are listed in the following document.

    https://examples2.ext.net/#/Getting_...AKING_CHANGES/

Also, is Ext.Net 2.5.2 capable of detecting IE11?
Yes, IE11 is properly detected in Ext.NET 2.5.2.

    Hope this helps.

    Ext.NET v2.1.1 uses ExtJS 4.1.0.

    Ext.NET v2.5.2 uses ExtJS 4.2.1.

I was curious, if you were to give a mark between 1 to 10
I think it should be 2 mostly. Maybe, 3 in some scenarios where a lot of custom functionality (involving the overrides of ExtJS and Ext.NET JavaScript).
