Alternative Time control

I had built a custom time control for myself. But having looked at the richness of Coolite/ExtJs controls, I felt my control was too basic.

So, I was petty excited when I came to know about the TimeField being made available in 0.8. But having used it now, I seriously feel it lacking (atleast it is not as user-friendly as DateField. If we need to present the user with the option of selecting upto the minute like 10:34, the dropdown would get extremely long).

So, I thought why not ask the Coolite team to use my TimeEditor. I have put up a demo for it at:

It is definitiely not as rich as Coolite controls. But it definitely allows user to select time more quickly. I would be pleased to share the server-side and client-side code with the Cooilte team, if the team thinks it eligible to be incorporated in the toolkit.

Can you limit the time ranges on the control? (like 8 am to 5 pm)

The control currently does not support limits. But it should NOT be too difficult to adapt it to do so.

Please check that link again. My Hosting Provider accidentally misconfigured my domain.
Regarding posting it at Showcase, please note that the control is independent of Coolite, and is a regular server control.

I just thought that my control was more user-friendly than the one provided in 0.8. So, I just offered to turn over the code to the community without any riders. You would need to work on it to make it Coolite & ExtJs compliant. I was just presenting a an alternative approach for time input, and my code if that provides any help in making a similar one for Coolite.
