Performance Issues in Internet Explorer

Hello,

We have a web application under development which uses coolite(0.8) controls extensively (LayoutRow,Panel,BorderLayout,ViewPort). The performance of the application is at least 4 times slower in IE(7 & 8) as compared to FireFox or Safari. We do not know the root-cause at this point. Any inputs in this regard as it relates to coolite controls will be very helpful.

Hi Abdul,

Firefox and Safari are faster browsers.

If you have a specific .aspx code sample which demonstrates how to reproduce the performance issue, we can run locally to test and should be able to investigate further.

Sorry for the late response. We finally figured out the coolite layout/splitter could be the root-cause cause. The page with coolite layout/splitter is 4 times slower than without it. May be we are missing coolite specific properties or optimization techniques. One of our previous project had simialr issue with telerik splitter control that we had to do enable telerek specific settings. Is there a way I can send the zip file whihc contains a sample? Please advice.
