How to show map of USA with GMapPanel?

I would like to show the USA as default in my map. I also then want to be able to set the GeoCodeAddress at run time via JavaScript. I could not find any examples of this. Any help on this would be appreciated.

That example only shows using an actual address as the Geoaddress Center Mark. However, I just want to show the USA. I tried entering just USA, but it complained about it and didn't display anything.

Do any addresses work for you or are you trying to show a whole country like I am?

I need to enter FULL adress in order to get the map rendered.
If something is not entered correctly I got the same error message you´re facing.
In other hand, I´m trying to implement googlemaps with coolite without using "ux:GMAP" but using direct googlemaps API.

Here is an example of how GoogleAPI works and may help you to find other solution for your problem and achieve what you are wanting:
