ComboBox/Controls Render Improperly

I have a tabpanel which autoloads a URL - a combobox refreshes the URl - when it refreshes I see the attached - all of the comboboxe select buttons are skewed down

It is largely when I place my controls in a Toolkit tabpanel (not by choice) - the controls, when the tab loads - seem a little skewed - will try and get a sample - in some cases my grids are all compressed when the tab loads and have to reload the iframe the grid sits in to get them to re-render properly

This issue still persists for me - whenever I have a grid panel in a asp.net ajax tabpanel - and then load that frame in the background and then click on the tab - the grid is all compressed - if I refresh the tab/frame - the grid loads fine - this happens each and every time - even with just the most basic control configs, etc.
