Combo box value not being displayed after filter is applied, bug exists in all cases

In this examples, please follow as below to create the bug:

1) click edit to any record
2) in "Reports To" field,search for "King" & select it
3) now close the window & click edit for the same record
4) Now "Reports to" combobox selected value doesn't appear
