Coolite versioning & release policies

I am a bit confused as to how Coolite is versioned & released. While browsing through the forums for some help, I came across a thread with someone insisting for a Time Control as early as possible, with geofrey mcgill replying at the end of the forum topic that it has been done & released with Coolite 0.7.1.

However, on the Download section, only coolite 0.7 is listed. Do you replease minor Coolite updates explicitly or are they available only to people having SVN access??

Hi r_honey,

At somepoint after the v0.7.0 release we anticipated releasing a quick v0.7.1 update. The requirements for the release grew and eventually we decided to just release a full v0.8.0 and wrap up all the new functionality in one drop.


There was never a v0.7.1 release.


I'm going to go back through all the posts which mention "v0.7.1" and revise to "v0.8.0" to avoid any confusion.*

Are there any information when the 0.8 version will be released, many request about this but we don't have any informations only "It will be released soon".
