Extremely dangerous IE "Backspace" problem
Hi Guys
So I have been working on this SPA for months now and did a demo for key users with a walk-thru exercise for them to follow. About half an hour into the exercise I have two people complaining about hitting the backspace key and ending back at the login page (whilst losing all your work).
It would seem that Microsoft has added a ridiculous (what they are calling a) feature which means hitting the backspace key (while not in a textbox) will take you back in history. In a Single Page App this is the login page.
This for me is absolutely outrageous not to mention is probably enough for me to recommend that all users move to Firefox or Chrome (what I have been developing in which is why I never picked this up), although Im sure this won't happen.
Im sure you guys have come across this before? Do you have a fix for this or a workaround?
Thanks for any help you can give???
