DateField Format dd/MM/Y

Hi!

I have a field which value of the Format property is "dd/MM/Y".

If I insert the value 16111985 the field doesn't format correctly the date 16/11/1985. But if I insert the value 11161985 it's formated correcty (16/11/1985).

In my opinion this format configuration isn't useful to this case because the users wont want to insert MMddY format to obtain dd/MM/Y. Is there other way?

There is AltFormats property - Multiple date formats separated by "|" to try when parsing a user input value and it doesn't match the defined format
