[CLOSED] HTTPS issues with non https content

We have a simple test page that has nothing on it but ext.net resource manager. When I hit that test page using IE8 and https, I get a security warning saying "This webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection...." It works fine in IE9 and chrome. I tried using fiddler to see if any resources were delivered with normal http but couldn't find any. Do you guys a https example I can try to hit from my end? Examples Explorer does not work with https.

But can you try to use this advice:

    Go to Tools>InternetOptions>Security>Custom Level>Display Mixed Content:Enable
    Does it work for you?

I tried it and it doesn't work. Again, it's not my browser setting since I am able to hit other https sites fine. It could be our server settings so that's why I want to see if you guys have an external website that I can hit with https to make sure it's something on my end and not yours.

Unfortunately, we don't have a test page with https.

If you can't see any request with "http", maybe the problem is somehow related to this one.

    Googling more I found this.
    http://blog.httpwatch.com/2009/09/17...ntent-warning/

As a conclusion, some JavaScript actions can lead to that warning message. Maybe, there is something in ExtJS/Ext.NET.

Is the problem reproducible with pure ExtJS?

I downloaded HTTPWatch but didn't see any http requests. I created a simple page in my webapp with only the ResourceManager and it's throwing https warning. If I set RenderStyles = false, I do not get the warning. So I believe this is something on your end with your css files.

I want to add that it is not Ext.NET CSS but the huge ExtJS CSS that's causing issues. There must be some invalid url in the file for background image. What I am doing now is just taking the CSS file generated by ResourceManager and adding the content straight to my aspx source page in the head style tag. I am removing chunks at a time to see if I can find the line causing issue. Maybe you guys have a better way to find it?

Could you clarify what do you mean by a wrong URL? An URL which makes a request with "http"? If so, then you should see that request.

Could you, please, clarify how determined it?

Is the issue reproducible with pure ExtJS, i.e. without Ext.NET ResourceManager?

If don't add ExtJS ext-all.js script on the page, just its CSS file, is the issue reproducible?

I just don't have a good idea how to find a wrong URL in the CSS file, so, I am trying to ensure we did isolate the problem.

I am guessing that there's a style with background-image: url('something') and that something is pulling http resources. I can't seem to track it down yet. But for sure, if I have that file, it breaks.
