DateFilter in GridPanel

When I use a DateFilter in a gridpanel, I can't put a before and after date in the same time, because after I put the first one, the research starts immediately and I can put the other date just once the research is done.

Is there a way to avoid this and put the two dates together?

(this is possible to do with the numericfilter where I can have together a > filter and a < filter)
