Ext.NET 2.x is a major version upgrade from the 1.x releases. There are some breaking changes from 1.1 -> 1.7, although that upgrade path is more straightforward than the upgrade from 1.x to 2.x.

Yes, Ext.NET v2.x WebForms supports .NET 3.5.

Ext.NET 2.x MVC doesn't.
