    [CLOSED] PagingToolbar findParentByType() doesn't find the parent

    Hi,

    Please advise what's wrong with this approach. It was perfectly valid in v1.x but returns null now. I'm trying to get a handle on the GridPanel object from a checkbox residing in its PagingToolbar:

    <%@ Page Language="C#" %>

    <%@ Import Namespace="System.Xml" %>

    <%@ Register Assembly="Ext.Net" Namespace="Ext.Net" TagPrefix="ext" %>

    <script runat="server">

        {
            get
            {
                DateTime now = DateTime.Now;

                return new object[]
                {

    Hi Vadym,

    Now there is the powerful ComponentQuery feature.
    http://docs.sencha.com/extjs/4.2.0/#...ComponentQuery

    Please use:
    var grid = this.up('gridpanel');
  3. #3

    Store getSortState() replacement?

    Thanks Daniil,

    That was helpful. Please mark this thread as closed.
