[CLOSED] What should consider to update the Ext.Net 1.6 to Ext.Net 2.x successfully?

    Hi,

We are worknig in a .net solution with ext.net 1.6, but we are considering to upgrade to ext.net 2.x.

We made an attempt but we noticed that some classes have changed names or no longer exists.

Do you have a reference guide for upgrade ?
What we should consider at the time to start the upgrade?

    Regards,
    Thanks!

    Hello,

It is nice that you are considering migration to Ext.NET v2.

Here are my best thoughts regarding this.

Good luck. It's been a rocky road for my project. I decided to upgrade because of the release of IE10 which broke a lot. The renames and refitting is easy, but the subtle new layout rules have been the toughest to get back rolling. I estimated 2 weeks for upgrade and here I am at a month.
