Very strange! I use VS2010 test Ext.Net1.6 and VS2012 test Ext.Net2.1.

I deploy my project to our server, it's xml too!

Thank you for the solution. But there is Ext.NET v1.6 dll. Yes, the issue is reproducible with this version as we found out.

But I thought we are now talking about Ext.NET v2 only.

Are you able to reproduce the issue with Ext.NET v2?

Strange, I test Ext.Net2.1, now I get JSON format, maybe I make a mistake before, very sorry, Ext.Net2.1 work fine.
