    [FIXED] [#122] Checkbox selection model

This is issue is related to the checkbox selection model:

When you click on a cell in the first column but you miss the checkbox, the other selections are cleared as if you clicked on a cell in the other columns. In my mind, clicking ANYWHERE on a cell in the first column should behave as if you hit the checkbox.

To see what I mean, go to this sample, https://examples2.ext.net/#/GridPane...box_Selection/, and select a few rows by using the keyboard or clicking on the checkboxes. Now click on a cell in the first column with a selected checkbox but don't hit the checkbox, click outside the checkbox. All the other selections will be cleared.

It's not a big deal, but again, it is a confusing behavior, in my mind.

    Hello!

Yes, this behavior looks strange. However, this is default behavior made by Sencha. We will investigate this more.

    Hi everybody,

I would agree that we should not lead a user to click exactly a checkbox.

I don't think it is a bug, but definitely something to improve or create a special config option to manage.

Lets wait what they will answer.

    Thank you, @bogc.

Sencha marked the thread [FIXED]. Needs to review it after upgrading to ExtJS 4.2.0 beta 3 (or, maybe, the final 4.2.0).

Both the Sencha team and the Ext.NET team can no longer reproduce this issue as of Ext.NET 4.x.

Please let us know if you run into the same problem with Ext.NET 4.x (or higher) and we will reopen this Issue for investigation. Going forward, support for this issue can only be provided for Ext.NET 4.x (or higher).
