[CLOSED] [#22] Ext.Gantt Issues when saving

I have been using Ext.Gantt and so far things are going great. I really appreciate the chance to help with the testing of this fine product.

Both of the following problems appear to have been addressed in later versions of the Bryntum Gantt tool.

1.) I have run into a couple issues that I was hoping you could help me with.

An important thing to note, in both of these scenarios is I do not commit changes to the database until a user clicks the save button.

The first issue comes when adding two new tasks, the first task being the parent to the second task. When I collect the new tasks to be sent back to the server to be committed to the database Ext.Gantt reports the parentid of the sub task as null. This issue has been discussed on the Brytum forums (see link below) and a fix has been applied. The fix is included in Gantt 2.1.5. I was hoping you could incorporate the latest version of Bryntum into Ext.Gantt.

    http://bryntum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2289&hilit=parentid+null

2.) The second issue comes from attempting to assign a resource to a newly created task before it is saved to the database. I get a script error which I have included below. This issue appears to have been corrected as of the latest version of Bryntum Gantt.

    This is the script error:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'onAssignmentStructureMutation' of undefined

To recreate what I am seeing just add a new task and attempt to assign resources before saving and you should see the error I am seeing.

We are updating to the latest Gantt build. With some luck this should be complete before end of day Friday. Once the update has been applied, we'll get you a new trial copy of Ext.NET.Gantt to test with.

We're coordinating with Bryntum regarding the official release of Ext.NET.Gantt and should have some news very soon.

NOTE: [2013-12-19] Unfortunately, the Ext.NET versions of Gantt and Scheduler will not be released. Please contact Byntum (http://bryntum.com/) directly for a demo or purchase of the JavaScript only versions.

That is great news, on both the updated test release and impending full release.

Thanks so much for getting back to me.

Is there any updated on the updated Ext.NET.Gantt? I am interested in seeing if it fixes the issues I have been experiencing.

    Thanks.
