Using a Handler appears to be a stable workaround. Generally, it is just a shorthand for a click listener.

I am using the workaround mentioned by you. I was wondering whether it had been solved since the Ext.Js version was updated.

On version 3.1.0, all the issues related to button's click are resolved.

But button's tooltip is not shown when the button is overflowed.

Hello! I've just split this thread in two issues. #21 has been fixed and closed. Now the new issue is numbered after #1316 and we are still looking forward for a fix to it!
