CycleButton in Gridpanel

I was wondering if it possible to use CycleButton in Gridpanel as ColumnCammand used in following examples?

I came to know from following that it is not possible to use CycleButton in Gridpanel.

Okay. I know it should be possible to use SplitCommand in Gridpanel. I want to use Gridpanel with splitcommand as shown in the attached image.

My question is how can I set the corresponding icon of the menu command as the user select the item.

I will be very thankful for a positive reply.
