Way to update row body on Edit event?

I have a rowbody in a gridpanel - I have a window pop-up and the user adds a note/comment and saves/closes the window - what I am doing now - is reloading the store for the just added/comment and note to show up on the grid's rowbody... Is there a way - when a users submits a form - to update the rowbody of the grid - and not have to reload the entire store to pick up on the new addition?

I am desperate here as this is the last item on this project and just want to close the door and move on, but am stuck in having to reload the entire store...
