    Ok.

    Thanks for sharing the solution, it might help someone on the forums in the future.

    I found it out. It's probably a well known approach but regardless, here's what I did:

    1. Create a new tab in the IDE Toolbox
    2. Chose Ext.net control items by selecting the Ext.Net.dll assembly in the explorer
    3. VS2010 IDE->Tools->Import and Export Settings...->Export selected environment settings
    4. Saved the resulting .vssettings file
    5. Reopened the Studio and imported the .vssettings file created in the previous step

    The Ext.Net controls are now in the toolbox to stay :)

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    I've never met such issue and was unable to reproduce now.

    I followed the steps from:
    https://examples1.ext.net/#/Getting_...uments/README/

    Though, I think, you have followed the same steps.

    I sure did. But it took me an extra step exporting / importing the settings file to persist the Ext.net controls in the toolbox. Regardless, it's resolved and can be closed as such.

    Thanks Daniil,
