Single mask for all ajax calls

Hi,

How can i have a single mask defined for all the DirectEvents that take place in the whole page.
Instead of defining the Mask in all the controls, i want to define it all a single place and then all control should show that mask while DirectEvents.

This is how the UpdatePanel works. Can you please tell me how to do this?

I have created my own CSS for this but how to integrate it with Mask option?
