DropDownField drop component height setting giving problem.

    Dear All,

I have a DropDownField on my page. This dropdown has grid placed inside as its component.
Its a late binding combo where the data gets bound to the grid when the user clicks the dropdownfield trigger.

I have set the initial height of the Grid to 385px and then i also resize the height of the grid when the data seems to be just 3-4 rows.
I decrease the height in that case.

Now the real problem comes when the DropDownField is placed somewhere near the bottom of the page. When the user clicks the trigger to load data. The dropdown opens with the Grid inside it at the height of 385px. As the height is big and the space left to the bottom does not seem to fit, then the Grid open on the top of the DropDown. Now after it is open i check whether it contains 3-4 rows and then set the height according, immediately the height of the combo box gets decreased. After resize the combo seems to be in mid air.

A sample image has been attached.

Can anyone tell me what should i do to maintain the drop of Grid stuck to boundary of DropDownField?

    Regards,
    Huzefa
