if I want to use a control called "desktop" in my application, would it be legal? It obvious is a mimic of the Microsoft Windows desktop page. Thanks for your help!

Many of the Components within Ext.NET/Ext JS are mimics of the Microsoft Windows UI elements. They are skinned/themed to mimic the look-and-feel of UI elements that your users may already be framilar with.

The skin/theme can easily be changed by setting the .Theme property on the ResourceManager, or adding a custom Stylesheet to your Page.
