    [CLOSED] String gridFilter UI

    Hi,

We would like the user to be able to set the comparison operator for string searches (CONTAINS, EQUALS, STARTS WITH etc) when using gridFilters. I know this is sort of thing is done already for integers where you can set the equal, less than and greater than values.

Is there any way for me to get the same type of thing for strings? Can I change the UI of the filter stuff at all?

    Cheers.

    Hi,

    It's possible.

You can look into the GridFilters scripts to see how it's implemented for numbers.

Then you can extend GridFilters creating a new filter type.
