    [CLOSED] GridPanel Move Row Up/Down

    Hi EveryBody,
    i would like to know if there's a way to move up and down a row (ClientSide) inside a GridPanel.
    I have a GridPanel with 2 columns ID, Name, and i need to move them up and down for custom sorting purpose. The problem is also that after move them, the column id have to auto update according to the new row position. Is there a way to do this?

    Please help.
    Thanks a lot,

    Hi Andrea,

    Here is a sample which shows how to move records with buttons

    RE: [CLOSED] GridPanel Move Row Up/Down

    Thank you vladimir it perfectly work!
    I only fix a little problem in your example:
    Pressing on the "DOWN" button a lot of time, more than the rows inside the gridpanel are, it fire a javascript error and the selected row disapper.
    To fix this problem I have modify the "function move" as following:

    function move(grid, up) {
        var ds = grid.getStore();
        var record = grid.getSelectionModel().getSelected();
        var rindex = ds.indexOf(record);
        rindex += up ? -1 : 1;
        //Only modify >= ds.getCount() instead of > ds.getCount()
        if (rindex < 0 || rindex >=  ds.getCount()) {
            return;
        }
        ds.remove(record);
        ds.insert(rindex, record);
        grid.getSelectionModel().selectRecords([record]);
    }
    Thank you again Vladsh, fast as always.
