Please set .PageSize for the PagingToolbar.
In according to "1" limit you set up, .PageSize should be 1.
And "total" in the response looks wrong. I see 9 records in the response, but the total is 3.
If you use remote paging, you should return (limit - start) records and a total value should be a total number of records in the data store (database, etc.).
