That's a bit different.

It shouldn't try and download the file, I will need to look into that.

Also I noticed you used firefox, I used IE. When using IE that behaviour does not occur.

Is it possible you could try with IE?

Yes, I also tried under IE9, it doesn't say to download a file, but the one thing happens is the IFrame (with google) become blank.

Yeah that's what is supposed to happen with this test project. If you then hit the new button a window will appear. If you then move that window over the IFrame then the IFrame will appear above the window.

Sorry I didn't make that clear. I should also have said the target platform is XP using IE 8.

No, for me the loading text disappears and the IFrame becomes blank, as I expected.

I see that Compatibility mode is switched on. Please note that this mode is not officially supported.

Is the issue reproducible without Compatibility mode? And what IE's version do you use? I guess IE8?

I haven't switched Compatibility mode on, so yes I can reproduce the issue.

The version of IE I am using is: 8.0.7600.16385.

I just saw that the Compatibility mode icon is not gray-out in the second screen-shot, so it should be switched on.

The only way that the window fully covers the IFrame is when the HTML Editor within the Window covers it:



The IFrame is still there it is just hidden by the HTML Editor.

Then depending on the position of the window determines whether the IFrame covers the Window, but not the HTML Editor, or the HTML Editor covers the IFrame:



The Window has been moved down and now the IFrame appears and covers the Window. The IFrame is now only partially covered by the HTML Editor.

HtmlEditor's body is also iframe, therefore it's on the top of another iframe.

Well, anyway the mask is not hidden after the .../getMail response, and, I guess, it causes the issue.

Please let some time to investigate further.
