[CLOSED] Page Header Footer layout design concepts with ExtJs/Ext.NET

hi,

i'm planning to make page header & footer [the sections that appears on every page in the project] using north & south regions of borderLayout-viewport design. is that good idea or bad.
i mean is it as good as masterpage concept? knowing that i already subclass the page design so all what i have to do is pass html fragments for header/footer in case they are static to the panels inside north/south regions.

please advice if masterpage method got advantages over the above method,

Not sure that I understand properly how all is configured basing on your description. Could you provide code snippets to demonstrate?

Anyway, there is a one configuration that you can use without risk.

In MasterPage define a Viewport with BorderLayout and ContentPlaceHolders in its regions. And define regions in content pages.
