I am not able to view in Designer mode plz help

hi friends,

I am a newbie to ext.net, can somebody help me how I can see the controls in UI mode, I mean designer mode.

I am using visual studio 2008, .net 3.5 SP1, I have done the following things.

1. Added reference to dll(s) in my project
2. Made changes in Web.config file.
3. Registered the dlls in GACUTIL (Global assembly cache)
4. Added toolkit in toolbox using (ADD NEW TAB----->CHOOSE ITEMS)

Still I am not able to view design.... I searched Internet but couldn't find much help..

Currently, Ext.NET does not support Visual Studio Design Mode.

Please modify your project in markup (Html View) or code-behind (Source View).

Is there any estimate when the visual studio will design mode support ext.net?

Hi,

Unfortunately, Ext.NET will probably never include full Visual Studio Design Time support. The Visual Studio Design Time API is weak and unstable, which limits our ability to provide enhanced Design Time support.

We are investigating other options, although these will take some time to implement.
