Filter vs. GridPanel Paging

I have a following problem. On my gridpanel I display a series of rows. I clicked on the grid pager and switch the fifth result page. Later I filled my filter controls and than datastore contained only one rows. But my grid remained on fifth page and I had to click first page to see the one returned row. What I want to achieve is to set grid panel on first page after gathering new data. How do I do this?

Do you use GridFilters or MultiHeader?

I guess neither. I use button than refreshes grid, and during refresh grid reloads DataSource with params from textbox.
